The Transdisciplinary Research for Drug Discovery Lab & Studio is an initiative of the Mexican Society of Epigenetics and Regenerative Medicine A. C.  (SMEYMER), based in Mexico City. Our long-term aim is to identify new small molecules with therapeutic potential for several human diseases.  Our refined pipeline involves analysis of protein structure, identification of candidates by ligand- and structure-based analyses, conceptualization, design, synthesis and characterization of drug carriers. We also conduct in vitro and in vivo characterizations of the most suitable drug candidates. 

Our parallel aim is to host a space for a redefinition and reconceptualization of the image. Through our day by day electron and visible microscopy work, we use selected images to provide them with a new interpretation apart from what they were originally created.
